Arthur Bryant's BBQ

Barbecue so good that even presidents eat here! The original location on the east side has been graced by the likes of Harry Truman, Jimmy Carter, and even director Steven Spielberg. Char Bar

A barbecue joint where their most popular dish is meatless. Now that’s an oxymoron if I’ve ever heard one! The “JackKnife” is famous for its jackfruit sandwich, which can become a vegan-friendly version of pulled pork in the deft hands of the Char Bar chefs. But fear not, meat lovers. Char Bar’s method of low and slow cooking and their award-winning sauces can make your favorite BBQ dishes as tender and perfect as you’ve ever seen them done.

Q39

A newcomer on the ‘cue scene, Q39 is known for going above and beyond what people consider to be ordinary barbecue. A legendary Black Angus beef brisket, smoked salmon, house-made sausage, and fresh apple coleslaw are a few of their offerings, some are even award-winning! Their barbecue is accompanied by a wood-fired grill, and that element can make all the difference in the way Q39 prepares its fineries. A rustic-modern vibe, a patio with a view, and big tables make it feel like you’re with family every time you visit.
