The Fontaine Hotel in Kansas City's Country Club Plaza is an exceptional destination for both business and leisure travelers. Situated in the heart of Kansas City's upscale shopping district, the hotel offers a sophisticated atmosphere with luxurious amenities and breathtaking views.
Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the attention to detail in the hotel's design. From the custom tile mosaics on the marble floors to the playful Renaissance artwork adorning the walls, every element of the hotel is carefully curated to provide a serene and sophisticated ambiance.
Upon entering our room, it felt as if we had been transported to a luxurious hotel in the heart of New York City. Our room was a haven of style and seclusion, complete with warm hardwoods and shades of blue, white, and charcoal. The Spanish-inspired swirling designs on the headboards added a touch of elegance, and the white on white guest bathrooms of Carrera marble were accentuated by sleek mirrored stainless steel accents. The oversized walk-in shower with a rainforest shower head was a highlight of our stay, offering a sublime and luxurious experience.
The rooftop terrace and fire pits just outside Nine Zero One restaurant and bar were among our favorite amenities, and we particularly enjoyed the themed igloos with their own sound system that streamed directly from our smart phone. For larger groups, the log cabin clamping experience offered a cozy and intimate atmosphere with a flat-screen TV adjacent to the fire pit chat set overlooking Brush Creek. The outdoor pool also provided stunning city views.
The hotel's fitness facility was modern and well-equipped, and we enjoyed our morning breakfast in the Solarium before finishing the day with an outstanding dinner at Nine Zero One.
The location of The Fontaine was unbeatable, and we didn't need to use our car once during our stay. The hotel is situated within walking distance of Country Club Plaza, Brush Creek, and Westport, with easy access to the Power & Light District, T-Mobile Center, and Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. The hotel also offers shuttle rides around the plaza for added convenience.
Overall, our stay at The Fontaine Hotel was nothing short of spectacular, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable experience in Kansas City.
