What began as a sketch on a napkin when renowned architect Moshe Safdie met with Irene Kauffman at The American Restaurant in 2000, the jewel of Kansas City, now know as The Kauffman Center for Performing Arts, has forever changed the skyline of Downtown Kansas City.
